The Electronic Tendering
System enables subscribers through electronic means to register as suppliers,
receive notification of tenders, download the tender documents, raise queries
and receive answers, submit tender offers and receive notification of contract
award. The System provides a total security solution that ensures privacy,
authenticity, integrity and non-repudiation. Other advantages include reduced
demand for printing and despatch of tender documents in hard copy format,
the saving of paper and of postal charges and less rekeying through the electronic
interface of data.
