Since my first day at work, I have felt valued and heard. Managers and colleagues actively seek and listen to my opinions and thoughts. This friendly atmosphere creates a comfortable environment that empowers me to confidently express my ideas and contribute to the company’s growth.

I further witness the company’s open and inclusive culture when I work on company projects. In every meeting, we had the opportunity to share and exchange ideas, creating a collaborative environment where everyone’s input mattered. Additionally, having regular catchup meetings with my supervisor helped me align my own goals and values with those of the company, which laid the groundwork for a rewarding and successful journey together.

Another key value of ESDlife is its emphasis on training and development, with a focus on nurturing an all-rounded individual. As a trainee, I have been fortunate to receive mentorship from experienced managers and seniors, providing me with valuable insights into effective problem-solving strategies, guidance on best practices of the industry and suggestions on how to overcome specific challenges. Moreover, I have been provided with various workshops to enhance not only my technical skills but also my soft skills. I acquired valuable knowledge encompassing cutting-edge technological advancements like Cloud Computing and Artificial Intelligence, as well as essential soft skills such as presentation and negotiation. This holistic training approach further prepares me to be a more competent individual in adapting to future challenges.

The trainee journey at ESDlife is undeniably challenging and empowering!I started in 2022 and was allowed to experience six divisions while working on various tasks within our three business units. From generating fresh ideas to executing and evaluating campaigns, each rotation provides us with tremendous flexibility and freedom. The supervisors are incredibly helpful and eager to teach us as much as possible.

During my rotation in Business Analytics, I delved into analyzing the business performance of WeVow and presented my ideas to Tony Ma, our CEO. It was fascinating to work with real-life business data, and it’s satisfying to know that our efforts are genuinely beneficial to the businesses. Apart from gaining on-the-job exposure, a range of training opportunities is offered. We get to attend different courses on interesting topics, such as AI technologies and management styles.

At ESD “Life”, it’s not just about work and learning; we also come together to play and relax! Art workshops, cocktail nights, and lucky draws…we have various events every month. Colleagues from different departments and teams participate and have a great time together. All in all, the MT program at ESDlife has triggered my personal growth and has helped me unlock my potential.

Working in ESDlife is a wonderful and rewarding experience for me. The company pays a lot of attention to personal development and encourages me to grow and excel in my career.

The working environment here is vibrant, dynamic, and positive. People here are brilliant and supportive, and everyone treats each other with respect and kindness. I have learned a lot from daily collaboration with them. Besides, each trainee here has one buddy and one mentor who gives a lot of care and support throughout the program. They are always there to guide me, answer my questions, and provide me with constructive feedback. I also appreciate the talk and evaluation sessions with each rotation leader and HR after finishing a rotation, which help me reflect on my learning and performance, and identify my strengths and areas for improvement. These sessions also help me set clear and realistic goals for the next rotation and beyond.

The company provides a lot of opportunities to explore different businesses, not only by rotating among different business units within the company but also by participating in other activities like the bride award and the gala dinner, which broaden my horizon and enrich my experience. These activities also allow me to network with other colleagues and learn from their insights and perspectives.

I am always happy to share with my pals that I felt so lucky that my first job was in ESDlife. Before entering ESDlife, I had never imagined work life as a trainee could be filled with joy and accomplishment. ESDlife was no ordinary workplace but a hub of innovation. Whether managing complex projects, collaborating with diverse teams, or mastering new technologies, they were all great opportunities to prove my capabilities and push my limits. My dedication became the driving force behind my journey, and it never went unnoticed by my colleagues and superiors. Tony and all the experienced team leaders had been the incredible mentors who became my guiding light to encourage me to explore beyond my comfort zone. Through cross-team rotations, I gained insights into various departments and this holistic experience enables me to think strategically I am forever grateful for the challenges, the mentorship, and the opportunities that have molded me into a future leader.
